I returned to Sydney just two weeks ago after my incredible journey in the Philippines – stay tuned for more details in an upcoming edition. Early risings have been my routine, aiming to capture the magic of the morning. Among the daybreak scenes that occurred, my favourite unfolded at my local Coogee Beach, Sydney's sunrise haven.

You’ll see one of Coogee’s four ocean pools featured, this is probably the most popular called Ross Jones Memorial Pool which was built in the 1940s.

where to visit?

Whenever someone inquires about the top destination in Australia, my response remains unwavering – Uluru. This special spot in the country’s Northern Territory is unlike anywhere else you will ever visit in the world. Alongside the iconic rock, explore equally majestic sites like Kata-Tjuta, where the Valley of the Winds walk awaits. There are many sunrise and sunset spots you can visit with specially marked lookouts making it easy to know where to see the best views.

Whenever I travel somewhere I am often looking for places to stay that have a unique or mind-blowing view.

Australia's capital is the inland city of Canberra. The enclave state hosts an annual sunrise hot air balloon festival as part of its celebrations for Enlighten. The event occurs in March each year, providing ample time to start planning for the 2024 edition.

Resembling a Martian getaway, in my search for the perfect sunset spot for this list I had to venture into Western Australia. James Price Point, a haven for Australia's finest sunsets, seems like a destination we should all have on our radar.
