an ode to coogee beach

A bit of a different edition of ‘The Sunrise Chaser’ for you this fortnight. After five years I’ll be leaving Coogee where many of the sunrises you’ll have seen me capture have been taken.

To celebrate my much photographed and videoed beach I created an edit of highlights for you to show just a smidge of the sunrises since 2019. All sorts of colours occurred in that time, plus there was even a wedding.

blame it on the moon

For the next full moon mark down 21st of June (and the days around it). This will give you the best chance to see the best moonrises. It’ll be in the goaty sign of Capricorn so check on this website to plan which days the moon will be full where you are.
